What does this do ( suspension pic )

found this pic on a new gv and was wondering how and what this does for the suspension, is it a locating arm?, would the top of the area be spaced too??

must the new see-thru arm on the limited release invisible Vitara, pretty cheap but bugger me if I can find one.

That's 45687-84648-0033 on the EPC.

It comes up as the "1st layer of gravity defeater link"

Looks like a (dodgy idea) rear control arm spacer to be used in conjunction with raised springs or spacer.

It'll be correcting alignment on the IRS when lifted, probably to reduce toe in, and/or prevent bushing bind.
