Outer Limits 4x4 Board

i went on a trip this weekend with west coast 4x4 club, to a place called harvey which is 1 1/2 hours drive south of perth.
the area is mostly pine forrests with great hill climbs around the whole area.
any way i was 4x4ing this track which had some hell ruts, got a bit of air under my front wheel as you do with ifs made it up the hill and one of my rear shocks was pissing out all its fluid.
that is the seconf old man emu shock i have busted on the back.
the first ones welds split were the eyelet is weld to the shock.
i dont think much of ome shocks any more.

I use Explore ProComp shocks one of my rear's has taken a blow from a rock and is still working just fine. I've got the es3000's in rear and the 1000's up front I like the ride they give me.

Deano, I'm looking at Rancho RS9000's at the moment. Hayden from Alpine Offroad is helping me to find a longer shock to gain some more travel. There are quite a few different lengths to choose from, not having the rear swaybar I like the adjustable feature for firming them up for onroad. My Konis are great but you have to remove the shock to adjust them which is a PITA.

As you know I have had the Toughdogs in for about 2 and a half years and still good. There are probably better performing shockers out there, but they do live up to their name.

Tough that is... Not a dog.
