the only other things that will stop spark are the efi relay, which hardly ever fark up, and then the ecu. Other biggest problems are the coil, dissie, and wiring.
id know, i was mucking round with mine for 5 months trying to find a spark problem, had a thousand little problems, ended up being the crank angle sensor/dissie.

Start with the crank angle sensor - if the ECU doesn't see the crank turning it won't pump fuel or fire injectors or ignition.
I haven't looked at a wiring diagram - surely it's possible to check the output of the crank angle sensor (while cranking?)

They are in the distributor. I would get a test light or a noid light and check to see if you have injection pulse as well. ECU's are a common fault on these and the best way to test this is at the air flow meter and you should have at least 2 pins with a 5 volt reference. If the voltage is too high or too little the ECU power supply has given up.
If you have injection pulse then, considering the whole ignition system has been replaced then i would lean towards the ECU anyway.
