JK utes???

Has there been any rumours of the Brute concept being put into production and sent to oz??? I'd love a diesel version. http://www.allpar.com/trucks/jeep/scrambler.html

they are apparently working on a jk version in ute and 2 door wagon for the postal service in RHD could be a chance??!!

no that not a crysler made jeep.....that an AEV kit that you buy and install yourself.

However they were thinking of a ute based on the Egyptian J8 millitary truck, dana 44 front on coils, Dana 60 rear on leaves, a 2.4 turbo diesel, 34's on 16 inch rims......called a JT.

On AEV 's website you can buy the whole kit for $8995 US so about $10k AUD prolly $12k landed in oz sounds like it would be an awesome project vehicle only one in Oz a diesel JK version would be better its bound to come shortly. How would you go in Oz cutting and Lengthening the chassis. And getting it back on the road legal??? has anyone considered this kit before but found obstacles to prevent it happening. Stu is right about AEV and the JT concept i ment to put up both links
