Pull little strips out of the centre of the windsreen rubber, on the outside, gently, push with your feet around the outside of the screen from the inside of the car, easing it out as you go

If your rubber is cactus and rock hard, it'd be best, to cut the inner bit on the outside of the car, to ease removal, but only if your not reusing the old rubber

Pics? :D

Hi,

There are diagrams that will help you in the free w/shop manual here:

http://www.landrover.ee/est/files/manua ... s_body.pdf

but it's a 6mb file so you want to be on broadband.

(as opposed to broad banned............sorry mods - I do too many cryptic crosswords)

What are you wanting to do with this '89? What colour is it?

I can't believe your strippin out an 89 rangie for a trailer, why didn't you use an older piece of shite instead.

ok we have 3 in total one going this one that we r stripping we were given and it has no seats or doors just windows , motor and gearbox etc and the other well it is just for parts
so we thought that we would giveit a go at making a trailer and see how we go with the thought of having a 4x4 trailer to travel with

will put pics up as it comes along but it will b a slow job aas we both work and can only do it on the weekends
and with this we will ahve parts for sale but more about taht later in the for sale section

happy 4x4 to u all
