ive just bought a 2L-T motor to replace my standard turboed 2L motor and i have a few bits and pieces i cant fugure out. the 3 wires coming off the injector pump had no plug and were just chopped off. i have no idea which wires coincide with the plug in my engine bay. any ideas? i have a red wire, a black and a black with a stripe coming off da pump.(see photo)

Also the new motor has 2 flying saucer looking thinks (see photos) that have something to do with vacuum stuff. my old motor didnt have anything like that on it. any ideas on where i might be able to connect those to? if anywhere at all.

any input much appreciated. :P

The injector pumps on the 2L-T were set up to adjust the mixture in response to the turbo and how much air was in the system. This allowed the turbo to work over a greater range (and more economical) than a standard 2L thats been After market Turboed (in this case most people just cranked the pump to allow greater fuel flow to compensate.

As for where they go, they go from the manifold/Turbo area to the pump I think.

**This maybe be nothing to do with what you are talking about, but hey It might help**

The Injector pumps are different on your 2L-T and 2L right?

yea the injector pumps are different. the thing that puzzles me is that all the motor to motor hoses were left connected. y not these ones? i would have thought the got to the turbo/manifold aswell.

perfect sense.

when i got it the turbo wasnt actually bolted on so i bet they chopped da hoses when they took it off. i just cant see any pipes for the hoses to go on anywhere.
