I'm looking for some stiff but bendable metal piping that's about 15cm (or there abouts in diameter). I want to to use as a flexible arm to mount either a laptop or computer screen on in the Landcruiser. Does anyone know where I can get a metre or two of this stuff from?.

You mean like that convaluted flexible exhaust or intake piping that trucks have? Its usually stainless steel and expensive though.
Any trucking store or workshop would probably have some.

There is stuff, like used for the arm of a boom mike. I think the weight of a screen may be too much, and that coupled with constant vibrations could make it very loose.

This is what we use at work;

I have a mic 'gooseneck' if that's what you mean..

Cheap ($13) but I only used it to make a map light (and put my handsfree kit microphone on the end too, so i can move it nearer to my mouth when it's tres-noisey)

It wouldn't hold a laptop. A phone, maybe.

I got it at jaycar http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID ... &SUBCATID=

That's about as think as my middle finger, perhaps a bit thicker.
I didn't know they made them thicker than that.

Be prepared though: they cost a small fortune. Good gear though
