Why would you get something like that for purely a road tyre?

Get a AT type tyre and save some cash..

Look at General Tyre AT Grabbers I have them in a 285.75.16 and they are great, super smooth and little road noise.

...if it's purely road...why would you even bother with A/T's??

go Highway tyres... decent tyres are under $200 each- most under $150

i would love to see an All Terrain out perform a Highway Tyre on the black top....

If it is a 16" rim you're dealing with, you wont get a good HT tyre. The best I could find was the Pirelli ATR and even that I had to import in 285/75-16.

BTW, its a bloody good road tyre.

I had the same problem, the sizing will get ya!

I was looking for 315/75/16's in AT to run on the road (and impromptu tracks/dirt/sand) and ended up getting Goodyear MTR's for the road!!! simply becasuse thay had the least road noise, seemed to be getting good km's from others and were on a great special.

Personally, id prob look at an A/T, main reasoni have would be long distance trips, say a holiday to fraser for example, or visiting friends interstate where you decide you might wanna have a bit of a wheel,

but thats just me,

I run 33/12.5/15 Maxxis Bravo's 751 series for on road duties, they are a mild AT with rounded shoulders. They have performed great on road and surprisingly good on dirt tracks. Have another mates ruuning them on a 100 series and is happy with them also.

why 33's? 31" tyres on split rims. bridgestone duelers are great on the black stuff, pick them up virtually new second hand cheap, they drive great and theyre so quiet im thinking ill need to fix all the rattles and the diff whine now
