Fitting winch to ARB combination winch bar

Post by Cool95 »

Hi,

I have a 2008 D4D Hilux dual cab with an ARB combination winch bar. I have purchased a winch and should be delivered next week.

My question is can it be fitted without taking the winch bar off?

Where do people locate the solonoid box so its out of sight of vandals such as engine bay or behind the bar itself.

Thanks in advance

you will have to take the bar off to fit the winch.
as for the control box,i have fitted them in the engine bay on v6 models but there is no room on diesels.in my opinion on top of the bar is the best place for the box.do you leave your car in a high crime area?
