On my old cruiser I welded a plate to the side rail, in between the cabin and the front of the tray. This plate had a bolt welded to that sticking up so that the foot of the high-lift would sit over this, and attach with a nut. I also had another bolt sticking through the front of the tray which went through one of the holes in the body of the jack.

It worked well and was out of the way. This is the only photo I have where you can sort of see it, because I have since sold the car.

i welded two bolts to the top of the rollbar for the lux and then just slid it over them and bolted it down.

Top mount,to get it off just undo the handle

Bottom foot, it has 2 pins on it. The foot of the high lift has 2 holes in it. The foot just sits over the 2 pins.

I did it this way for a few reasons,
1 it had to be quick and easy to get off WITHOUT the use of any tools.
2 it had to look good while the high lift was on it
3 it still had to look clean and good when the high lift wasn`t on it.
4 didn`t want it laying flat on the tray taking up esky room.
5 wnated it as a bit of a feature that at the same time didn`t stick out like dogs balls.
