89' Sierra WT diffs how should i lock them ??

hey i have 89 sierra and have been doing a fair bit 4wd basically every w/e and thinking bout getting a locker or welding one of the diffs which is the better option as its my work car aswell and would the front or rear be better??

This has been done to death.. Spool or weld rear and air lock front.

front locker will make your turning circle bigger, unless air locker, im CIG locking boath of mine

Chances are you will get sick of having a permanent locker (lockrite or welded), and will then want an air locker. By then, you would have wasted time and money.. save up the $$, and go an air locker. Heaps easier on cv's etc cause there not constantly in, plus heaps of other benifits. I've had a lockrite in the front of mine, and one of my mates (in an identical zook) had a lockrite in the rear. I could go more places than him most the time. I'm now running front and rear air lockers.. do it right the first time and all will be happy :lol: :armsup: :lol:
