ratios for air lockers for patrol

Hey im just about to buy a front air locker for my gq, Im ordering online from rocky road the front locker code if im correct is rd78a ???????
Also it says nothing about the ratio wouldnt they need to know? Also while im asking what is the correct standard ratio diffs in gq swb diesel?

rd78a is the correct locker for your patrol.it suits all ratios.

The diff lock only replaces the Diff centre. You need to disassemble the diff and put your crown wheel onto the locker housing so you diff ratio will remian whatever it is now. I think shorties all came out 4.1:1, but i am happy to be corrected.

the RD78A has been discontinued the new number for the front patrol locker is RD136 it has a new modifed housing and takes 50mm id side carrier bearings. they should have done this to the rear locker instead of the front as its the one that breaks housings

new designed rear diffs for patrol-rd135.replaces rd24.
much stronger 2 piece design.
available now.

And if you're doing it yourself, make sure you use the locking tabs and some thread lock on the crownwheel bolts. I've had two crownwheels come "undone" due to the workshop NOT reinstalling/using the locking tabs.

Its a bit of a no-brainer, but it has happened....

patrol diffs dont have lock tabs on the crownwheel bolts
