windows rattle? welcome to the world of old GQ's.

rubbish body, top mechanicals. Can't really complain too much I guess.
running on could be your timing. More likely to be a crap fuel cut off solenoid on the injector pump though which is quite common.
changing filter - make sure your primer pump thing is working properly. They die with old age. Not much more to know, they're pretty basic there.
RPM at 100? Hmm. I'm around 2300rpm i think but i've got 33's.

My 95 Coilcab use to do 2450rpm at 100k with 33s , went back to 31s to try and help it out(which didnt work) and now does 2800 at 100km, it actually went better with the big tyres go figure!

mines around the 2300 at 100. 2500 at 110
i dont usually drive over 105 even in 110 zones, it only uses slightly less fuel now than what it did on 35" tyres. but im running heavy split rims.
i was getting around 12.5/100km with the 35's after speedo correction
with lighter bald 31s getting just over 11 consistantly, with the heavy split rims now getting around the 11.8 mark.
dont be afraid to rev the td42, i drop mine back to fourth at 105 to keep speed up big hills, and at 80 will drop back to third.
it pulls much better with less load and exhaust temp

with 35s and standard ratios mine sits on about 2000-2100 at 100k's and about 2300 at 110-120k's and burns around 15l/100k's

There is a way to fix the window/door rattle, we were doing it under warranty at Nissan 15 years ago, It's a bit rough though so I won't be posting it, PM me if you want to know what the Nissan solution is.
