Um, yes they do ofr57:

These are sparco sprints, and there's now 2 traybacks in the club here running these seats.

IMHO fixed back seats can provide the most interior/legroom as they tend to be quite upright and have very thin backrests, allowing the seat to be pushed back further.

We've tried recaro's in a trayback and they seriously eat into legroom because of the depth of the backrest at the base.

As for your question, onecheekyboy, do a search. Seat threads come up every month or so.

Steve.

steve i just got rid of my sparco seats due to the back being too angled back
and if i wedged the back up so the fit good they wouldn't hold that good on the sides :?

i'd be more worried about collecting my testicles everytime i got in and out.....there's a joke in there somewhere i know it. from my experiance people eventually get frustrated with that type when they are always gettin in and out.

Autotechnicas can bolt straight in using the existing rails. But if you're tall you may need to think about fabrication, as using the existing rails reduces the legroom considerably. They also are a PITA if you want to slide them forward for access to the rear.

Edit: Just re-read the post and realised the seats were for a long wheel base ute. Not sure whether they have the sliding rails as per the SWB.
I'd go the Sparcos like Gwagensteve's - A much better quality seat.

I've just put some Autotecnica fixed backs in mine. I was going to use the WT drivers side sliding seat rails on both sides but they were no good as I couldn't make them work without stuffing around as the wings by the shoulders are wider than the quoted measurement and there was no leeway in the ute so I just bolted them to the stock rails and they only just fit but the sides at the base are lower profile than the Sparcos so I find it easier to get in and out.......just.

Steve is right about no room for the Recaros as when we tried mine it was a very intimate feeling I had with the steering wheel.
