Finally got of my arse and started the SOA. Haven't done much more than put all the bits in one place but it's a good start. Went out yesterday and got some steel for the new spring perches. Ahh crap, I forgot to get some for the trac bar mounts
That's my original front housing, and the rear housing that I got from BJ @ TTC. 60 series knuckles and disks for the front. 60 series hubs for the back with the Hilux disks that I have on the SU front at the moment. FJ 55 springs under the bench at the back. H55F 5 speed and splitcase to the left.

So why not use a 60 series front housing while you are at it?

I am just using these axles to get me SOA ASAP. Then I can measure everything up and take my time getting the 60 series axles (I have a set) just right ie. rotated, trussed, stronger CVs blah blah blah. There's the U-bolt/diff thing too - no biggie, it will just take longer than the narrow housings.
That rear is off an HJ47 (I think). So it is the same track as the front.

Ahhh thats right i forgot we brought down a HJ47 housing for ya not a HJ60 now i understand.
