hey guys,
done a bit of a search but couldnt find what i was after.
iv got ome front struts and 40mm lifted king springs in my vit!
now im pretty sure the struts are bottoming out before the bumpstops work! usually at moderate speed through medium to big dips in the track etc. have most people extended these when they have fitted ome struts?
if so how? and any pics? i didnt seem to have this problem when suspension was stock. so im assuming its cause the bumpstops are to short??? i

you have lifted your springs so now the distance between your two shock mounting points is further away.... buy longer shocks... that way you will get even more flex seeing you have the room to go more before bumping out.

See how much spacing you need. ARB sell a 20mm bumpstop spacer (FK-28 I think). It is listed in their Old Man Emu catalogue for the XL-7 but will work front or rear on a Vit too.
