Limited edition Rangie?

Hi all,
I'm just about to buy a 1989 Range Rover Hi line.
It is bright red (not metallic) with the bottom 1/4 of the doore/wings in silver.
The owner says he saw another one once in the same colours.
I.m tempted to spray the bottom red but maybe not if it is a special edition.
Anyone got any ideas?
Yhanks
Dave

Make sure you are finished with the grider before you paint it.

hah...just rover had a limited number of litres of red paint.
I drive an 1986 limited edition range rover...
- no cup holders
- no glove compound
- no power windows
- no electric aerial
- no arm rests
pretty cheap for a car that cost $60,000 in it's day...
Sorry...couldn't resist..
Seriously, I don't think the red and silver is a genuine special edition.
Cheers
Andrew
