Hi guys,

I am looking to renew my suspension. I am planning to run 35" tyres. Is this kit reasonable price?

price looks ok , but you will need adjustable panhard rods and the 3 degree bushes should have a metal offset sleeve in them, so maybe only 2 degree bushes 3 would be better, Also a new steering damper would be good but not mandatory. Oh ya ya steering wheel and steering box will be a quarter of a turn out as well

part 2 Imformation was for the 4 inch kit
35 inch tyres will rip all the mud flaps off unless you space the diffs forward and back and will give ya some serious rubbing on guards as well (ps) strengthen up ya rear arms as well before they fold up and wallahh ya cheap 1000 dollar kit is now worth ???????????? hope imfo helps

with the 4" lift you will need to have lowered bumpstops to stop scrubbing.. otherwise do a 2" spring lift and 2" body lift with a body lift on either it wont scrub then

To do it right you need more gear than is in those kits.

I don't know about 2" but there's no way you can get away with 4" without longer panhards; I needed to replace the panhards with 3" lift.

Offset bushes are a substandard way of correcting castor imho, I know this is what all the suppliers offer though.

I wouldn't guarantee that you could run 35s with the 4" lift, and definitely not even close with the 2" assuming we are talking about a GQ.

In answer to your actual question the prices look okay for the parts you do get, however I would check with a few other suppliers on this forum. I put a notice up in "wanted" and the main guys who sell stuff contacted me.

Forget about what else you need for the Kit, are the springs and shocks worth that ?

NO, Ironman will not last in a heavy vehicle like a GQ Wagon.

I have the same kit in my car and I would not buy it again and I only paid $100- for the whole kit as it was a wrong order.

Save your pennys and buy something a bit better.
