I went to the factory a couple of years back in Queensland, they look awesome. Went and saw one a bloke is building down in Melbourne too, i ultimately want to get a GQ and build one. Build quality seemed good, plenty of room under the guards, one i saw had standard 16-inch wheels/tyres off a GU and they looked small on it. All galvanised too as i recall, so rust wouldnt be a issue. Just have to decide wether to get the dual cab ute or wagon hmm

I like the look of them and have entertained the idea of building one up, especialy as GQ donor vehicles get cheaper and cheaper. Probably better than a hummer in some ways due to being a lot smaller. I have heard the kits, while well made, still require a lot of drilling and mucking around to fit things.
Theres a project build up on the web site (someone is spending big $$$) which gives a bit more of an idea.
It appears the panels are electro plated zinc sheet - this would be burnt off around the welds. I doubt it would anywhere near as good as hot dipping or paint dipping after fabrication like most vehicles are. Potentially rust could be an issue if the design has water traps in the wrong place.

Internally you only need to drill for the seats and seatbelt storks (I used Commo seats with the storks attached to them, there still is abit of mucking around to make them the way YOU want them, but then again, they are a kit. You do have to make your own engine bay to mount everything to do with an engine bay as the body stops at the fire wall, but at least you can put stuff where you want it, within reason

Haven't really found any water traps yet in the body, time will tell

Looks really good mate. Beats paying all that extra cash for the real thing, especially when it's probably a more useful size.
