NT LWB with WT diffs.

But you're in Sydney- you can find WT LWB's as Ateco imported them. Only NSW could buy them.

i understand nt with wt diffs would be the most desirable. we were talking about this at work today with mixed results. i was more curious then anything else what everyone thought.

if you had to choose between a lwb nt or swb wt...what would you prefer..?

If boxed into a corner, NT LWB.

Actually the NT is better in mud and with the advantage on climbs of the LWB it's not a bad package, just falls over all the time.

Ateco might have been the only state distributor to import the LWB W/T but still like rocking horse poo to find today. Nearly as hard to find as a W/T hi roof.

The LWB N/T with W/T is the GO. I've been offered good money for mine but will die with it.

HRMM, my WT LWB was (allegedly) initially bought in SA...(makes me wonder how much of the cars "History" i can trust.)

I would be thinking the best answer for this would be WT Shorty, with wheelbase extended...

As it's been said I think NT LWB with WT diffs. Realistically neither are ideal standard. LWB NT need WT diffs and SWB WT needs a wheelbase extension. But in the end the LWB will end up the better rig with more space to store stuff.

If your WT is a LWB body or you stretch it to suit it will bolt straight on IF the chassis is a 1.3.
If the chassis is a One litre then the only mounts that line up properly are the ones each side of the radiator.
Mine is a 1.0 chassis with a 1.3 body and it wasn't real hard to redrill the holes in the chassis.. The rubbers cover up the old holes so nobody would know once bolted together.

ok kool so what your saying is the holes are only out by bugger all and can just be redrilled in the chassis to suit the body?

LWB NT is where its at!

although if i could find some cheap, non crap looking flares (or even standard flares) i would swap in some 3.9'd WT diffs.
