sierra problems

hey when i change gear under load i have a lod clunk comming form the rear, i was told this is bolts on the suspension?

and my exuasgt is shooting out black flakes once its warmed up but its like water if u hold ur hand close? is my exuast system going or sumthing more sinister

wen i start my car, black flakes come out too. its all good once warmed up. i dont think its any problem

aye, yer its getn a tune up hopefully tomorrrow

yer mine spits out black flakes all the time, and its running really really rich so it could just be unburnt fuel

black shit coming from the exhaust is quite normal , this is the catalytic converter doing its job.

the clunk could be anything from loose u bolts to worn bushes to shot uni , excessive play in diff backlash and hemisphere gears , a lot of things really ...

hey yer it just leaves black shit on my new driveway

i got under the car when it was on ramps and chocked and the rear driveshaft has about a 1/4 turn free play, is this normal?

Black flakes coming out of your exhaust is not normal. I'm guessing your mufflers are deteriorating from the inside and are spitting out bits of the baffle. Black water coming out (when engine is cold) is normal if the car is running rich as it's just condensation build up in the exhaust. You'll want to get that fixed though cause it will kill the catalytic convertor (if it has one)

sounds like either the pinion or spider gears have some exess wear. go easy on it!
