Post by src071 »

I just put some 15 inch sunnies with 31 x 10 duellers on my mk triton & have noticed that it doesn't drive as well as im used to ( standard wheels )but it does look so much better !! What performance gains or losses can i expect & is this set up ok for my rig ? Cheers

Can you explain "doesn't drive as well"? And what offset are your wheels?

If you've got 'cruiser offset rims they've increased your track almost 2 inches beyond the legal limit, and have made a huge difference to your scrub radius, which significantly increases your steering load. Any minor imperfection in your wheel alignment can cause your vehicle to wander signficantly over minor road imperfections and kick back on obstacles when you're offroad.

Errr.... Have you not answered your own question here or am I missing something?

You have noticed differences.....

.....and yes providing you can put up with it not driving as well then it's ok for your rig.
