Hi guys,
I have a 1978 model FJ45 landcruiser with a springover. The rear diff is a drum brake and i can get hold of a mid 90's 75 series disk brake rear diff and was wondering if it would bolt staight in besides welding the blocks on for the springover. Thanks.

g'day mate the truck in you avitar looks tuff

anyways i'm quite sure that it would but width might be different (not sure) BJ should be on latter and he would know all about it. I know if you go 60 series axels you gain 3" in width and you can get em with disk

Good luck

Thanks for your help. If the diff is wider it won't be a problem but i don't want to go any narrower. I have been building the truck in spare time but no one else in oberon is into that sort of thing.

name says it all, tuff rig mate!
75 series have the same width as 40/45s
60s are 70mm wider.
and 80s are wider than 60s.
