Who sell FOX coilovers at a REASONABLE price in OZ?

I'm sick of emailing US suppliers for a price on parts only to find out they have an Australian distributor, and won't sell direct from the US. Then you call the Australian blokes and their price is double, triple or more than the converted US price!!! WTF!!
I have had 2 quotes locally today ( within Australia) on fox coilovers, 10" with remote res, one was $880 each, and the other $1K !!!
thats without coils, which are $200 ea ( 2 per shock )!!!!
This exact item retails for $350 US, with coils at $60ea US, so why are the prices so insane here? Surely the ozy dealers aren't paying full retail, and shipping only adds $300-$400 for the 4 shocks and 8 springs, so thats $100 per corner so where does the rest come from?
I love this country and I always try to Buy australian and support local business, but if this is what we can expect from the australian 4x4 businesses I for sure will be continuing to shop the US market for a supplier who is willing to ship.
So Aussie FOX dealers speak up if you can offer a price thats even in the ballpark, not asking you to match it, but help us out a little. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling the sting.

No idea if they stock them but I would try locktup4x4, they source from america but have an australian base and don't have the mark ups that some place (ie: snake racing) have. Tell them Josh sent you

do you know anyone in the states?
I am finding the same thing with a c4 auto to hilux transfer adaptor.
its about 1/2 or so of the price if I buy it in the USA. but they wont sell to me due to the fact that marks adaptors are the distributer of their goods!
a friend just went to USA and has a credit card in australia, if I ring up and order the gear and get it sent to his place (they need american address) and pay with his aus credit card I can put money into his aus account and he can send a present to me that he bought me! ie he is not importing goods for me!
I have not yet tried this, but this is how another mate gets his sister to get him things.
just a thought

if a coil system is designed correctly there is no need for coilovers in a zook. use of the shelf items and spend the rest on lockers and gearing.

I haven't laughed that hard for so long
Joe:
I have gears and lockers already champ. I have done coils and coilovers in zooks before, and found the coilovers to be a more compact and versatile option. I just dont want to spend $6K buying them in OZ, when the same parts can be had for $2500 at my door from the states.

I don't think locktup are in WA, I think thats the USA4x4 or whatever they are called, I got my calmini lift through them and postage to the east coast was a killer.
I like to go australian when possible too but if they are just going to screw us over with 250% mark up like alot of them do then stuff em I say.
