Hey fellas

How do you go about fixing a leaking rear main oil seal in a 3L engine?

Does the crankshaft have to come out or???

if it is the on i am thinking of...

you remove your gearbox and fly wheel and then you can get to it from there... its not hard to pull out and change...

Not sure if this is the rear seal you are talking about...

Thanks Brad that's what I wanted to know. I was told the crank doesn't need to come out.

remember to use a genuine seal cos the non genuines have a tendancy to leak.

yeah use genuine i have made the mistake non genuine one has only last a bpot a month and is leaking again
