Outer Limits 4x4 Board

looking at swapping this for my daily driver.

its an 83 petrol on 35s with permits for tyres and lift

the owner says the engine has a very loud knock when started.
hence i would drop another engine straight in.

which motor is it the 18r?

and does anyone in perth have one laying round in good nic

i had a 18r in a 81 hilux, theres is no way it would turn 35's for a daily driver

The 18r is a 2 Ltr petrol. Don't expect much performance from it. Especially with 35's. I had one in my last lux that had head work, bigger cam and extractors and even with cheese cutters on, it didn't do 100kph unless it was a dead flat road. Should be able to find one pretty cheap though.

yer get it and chuck a v8 in it on gas would be awesome!

this will be the start of a truggy i have a vy ss that was a weekend car now will become my get around car when i need to get around

he said she is a slug but yer i will only be using it when going off road so for the moment i will just be puttin the 18r straght back in untill i can get an injecto 5L.

i has at least 2 inch body lift and at least 3inch suspension but still has room for 38s.

I used to have an 83 hilux with 35s. 18R with extractors and a weber, slow as would only do 90 flat out.
