Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Whats a CJ with good body not running worth. Im looking at buying one and I wondered if someone could steer me in the right direction. I have found a CJ with good body not running but have no idea what to offer him. Also what years was the CJ released.

Any info would b greatly appreciated

Here in Alaska a CJ with a good body (clean) stock you will pay $2,500-$3,000. A good tub and frame are well worth the money when dealing with a CJ. First year for the CJ-7 was 1976 I think and they made those till 1986. If you go with a CJ-5 try to get one from 1976-1979. Good years! Mine is a 78 with a 1994 Wrangler EFI 4.0L.
