Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Sorry if this has been asked before but the search feature isnt working at the moment (it does that from time to time to me - me only??)

I keep hearing about locker etc to fit large diff only or small diff only..,

are these diffs differnt sizes in various models or after a certain year did they change size? Or front to back??

Also save making a new topic... wats a 'large' (gu i think) steering box worth (to replace small box in a GQ??

sorry i didnt see your post

the big one is the h260
small one ( relatively small only to the big arsed h260 is the h233

h233 came out in most the gq's and gu's
h260 came out in the rear of mq utes, and some GU wagons
like 3.0 and 4.8 wagons and utes
h260 also came out in civillian busses with a full floater

when you see a h260, you will understand the definition of big

the large steering box ( yes it is a worthy upgrade to the smaller gq ones)are worth anything from 300 upwards.

now they are not really a GU box, As the GQII's came out with the same box, and this is teh one that you want, not the gu one, as you will have to change the pitman arm on the GU one, the GQ one comes with the correct pitman arm to work with GQ diffs.

series 2 GQ will have KOYO 082 on the side of it (faces out on the chassis rail ie can be seen from inner gaurd), the KOYO 104 is the GU and series 1 GQ are blank
