What could this noise be?

Driving this morning (on road) and noticed a slight noise developed. Sounded exactly like the plastic inner guard rubbing on the mud terrains at full lock.... But i was driving at 70km/h in a straight line. It only lasted for a couple seconds and went away... Pulled over and immediately looked for any rubbing marks, but was absolutely stumped at what it could be... After 20mins of further driving it has developed into a more frequent thing. Happened pulling away from traffic lights, turning at a roundabout and going over a speed bump.

I know it sounds like a "how long is a piece of string?" question, but any thoughts on what it could be...

It could be coinsidence, but its only started since i did the body lift... And its definately nothing rubbing on the tyres...

it could be the rubber flaps on the front guards which go between the body and chassis rails. they have those fold clips to hold them and when you do the lift it may have stretched them loose. then when you are fangin along at 70kmhr the wind blows them out enough to rub. or when you go around the roundabout the flap out and rub. but wait, if you look on the other side of the rubber you will see the rub marks. thats what i reckon it is.

That was exactly my first thoughts too, after removing the rubber "flaps" the noise was still there...... Finally i figured that if it wasnt the tyres rubbing it must be the fan... And it was. Problem solvered.....
