Yeah just had a look thru my old 4WDmonthly collection and yes the artical is named "Iron Spagetti " has full write up about how they invented all this stuff and Equip DESIGNED and manufactured the kits in Italy mountains for the Disco and L/R 90 in the pic's .
So I would say Scorpion Racing are the agents for them like Rovacraft are the agents down here for Scorpion Racing ......funny I ordered some stuff direct from U.K and was cheaper than Rovacraft's Scorpion gear , maybe buying direct again from Italy will knock out the middle man ????
food for thought .....anyone speak garlic ????? so we can get some deals going ????

Just installed some of their stuff - the scorpion evo and e2 kit - springs, + 2" konis, bent trailing arms, lowered shock mounts & towers, dislocation cones, new props, etc etc
...and it's not bad!

I have been told that Scorpion used to sell the Equipe things, but have "borrowed" the designs for UK manufacture now. I think most of it is optimized for 90's with modest size wheels.

Wasn't too bad actually, the springs & shocks were about the same as local suppliers (OME), the props were cheaper than I could get locally and the kit was about the same price as the springs and shocks. I mainly got their shocks and springs out of interest to see what they recommended their springs are longer and softer than the OME 764s I ran before which I am still deciding if I like or not.

I was told the complete extreme kit is $4500ex (
)
and also I have been told that you cant get bits and peices from this kit its either the whole thing or nuthin
obviosly not very keen on sellin shit.
After herin most of this I have decided to look further into Safari Guard and Rovertym gear

Just have the gear you want made localy.
Nothing made by these suppliers is hard to make or have made.
JUST cheaper gives you more dollars to play with.

Michael.

Here's my measurements...
Scorpion springs all about 16-17mm bar (need a better measuring stick!)
"12" 7 3/4 coils, 403mm free, 305mm loaded (pass side front)
"12.5" 8 1/3 coils, 418mm free, 310mm loaded (driver side front)
"15" 8 1/2 coils, 430mm free, 355mm loaded (rear)
Their springs are numbered, I have seen "9"s and they are shorter but I didn't get a chance to measure them.
Don't know load per inch but the middle lip of the flares on my 90 are now 950mm from the ground on 255/85s - higher than OME 764's.
The evo kit looked to have enough travel for me, will try and ramp it sometime and see what it scores. Want to install the roverytm arms from brad (when they turn up) and remove the old polybushes still on the radius arms first though...

I split the posts regarding Brad C into its own thread hopefully to bring this one back on track.
I spoke to Dave at rovacraft this morning.
Scorpion Racing wil not give any specs out on thier springs period.
He said this includes free lth, installed hight etc.
will have to see whats gong on and find out some other way.
Me I want to know the end result before purchaseing spings.
regards
Michael.

Scorpion racing dont seem to keen on seling much stuff..............
cant get items off extreme kit seperately ? ? ? cant get info on there products.... honestly how do they expect to sell there products ? ? ?
All in all I think its a great setup minus the dislocating springs, I think the rovertym radius arms and rear links coupled with this kit (or even a SG 3-Link up front) and retained rear springs would be a very good setup.

yep I agree.
Im not intospending $$ untill I have all the info.
cant blame rova craft here its SR that wont provide the info.
They could posibly have quite good sales if they promoted the equipment more, and supplied the info required.
