GQ Wipers wont stop

Post by Dominator »

The hi and low speeds work normaly but when it is on intermittant or off it like it is on int but with only about a half a second break between cycles. I thougt it was the relay in the amp sticking so i pulled it out and gave it a little tap and put it back and it fixed it for about 10 mins than it started doing it again. so i got another amp but it is still doing it. I have also tried a new switch, didnt fix it either. has anybody else had this problem, is it possible that it could be the motor, hoping to find an easy answer before i go searching thru the whole loom trying to fix it.

Inside the gearbox of the wiper motor there should be some copper tracks, this is the "self park",give it a bit of a clean with some emery paper it might be wearing out.

Worth a try i spose.
