Hi All

Im currently a rangie owner (84 rr) but im lookin at a patrol. All i want to know is there anythin to look out for???

Details:

ODO:295000kms
33in bf goodrich mud terrains
3 inch lift (King Springs, Rancho Shocks)
LPG/Petrol
Bash Plates
Extractors

Also I know everything works to my knowledge drives really great except for the tyres (might change em to All-Terrains if i buy it). Starts up nice and smooth and runs real good. Also with the 3 inch lift do the uni joints on the driveshafts vibrate at all because of the steep angle there on at high speeds( say at 100kms i only got up to 80kms). For the details thats all i can remeber but i pretty sure thats everthing.

Cheers Az

Giday wolfengo only thing i can think of at the mo is deing on lpg (as mine is a 1988 mav duel fuel) if u buy it keep an eye on your temp because the TB42 has a habit of cracking heads, has it got the flash top end lude for lpg also every shorty is different when it come to how high u lift it mine had vibes with only a 2" lift. hope this helps (im also in perth)

for a GQ shorty, plenty of threads on "Recommended prices lately, but he is smoking pole wnting 10k for it. Some are being had for $5k and under.

things can viabrate badly in shortys with lift's, but every single one is different.. some shake with 2inch lift, others dont shake with 4in kit...

good luck

Giday Wolfengo sorry about the late responce i payed 4 grand for mine but put the lift in,new tyres ect about another 4 grand i have spent on the 4b ( its a 1988 SWB mav and needed some work ) if yours has a lift, tyres, and other things done to it and is in good nick 8-8.5 grand sounds ok but remember its an old car and things r wereing out so be prepared to spend your hard erned cash. ps i live in the northan suberbes hope this helps MAVROD :P
