I know they are illegal etc. but does anyone know if any Aust company's or distributors stock this style adapter.

Why not just buy new rims, i doubt it will work out much cheaper to buy 4 adapters in Australia (where you may as well double the price of anything you can buy in the states).

because everyone else in my family has cruisers, so i will be able to use their spare sets of rims/tires.
it is only a once off cost for the spacers/adaptors

Look for some jap import hubs with the 6 stud, like Dee has. That will allow you to fit patrol/cruiser rims without needing spacers. Though the spacers may give you some width.
Those spacers work out at $137 at todays exchange rate ($129US) so for 4 they would most likley be around $300 or so, maybe a bit more, landed. If you look at the prices most places change for normal wheel spacers over here are $160 each and up (snake racing) then going to USA is probably a good bet to save some $$.

any one that makes spacers in aus should be able to make u custom set i got some one off spacers made to suit the rear of an xd falcon with a shortened diff it ended up costing nearly $700 tho and i had to send my mags away so they got them right..
