gq td42 leaking near tank

hey guys my gq is leaking diesel around the tank area i am getting my sub tank taken out tomorrow but what will it be that leaks under there is there a fuel line there that cracks i heard it was common for them to leak but didnt hear what actually leaks there.. its not the sub tank because i dont fill it..
