I haven't done it but I reckon an XB-XC Falcon V8 accelerator cable will work fine.
Most of the K engines I've seen in Zooks run the K radiator and a thermo fan.
Apart from the extra weight the thermo is their biggest letdown.
Don't bother with a 4K, get a 5K out of a LiteAce if you can.

Or an 8K - 1.8, some were EFI I think?
K's are torquey motors but In all honesty I don't think they are a very good conversion any more. They're not even really that nice a fit IMHO. Heavy, hard to set up an engine fan on, gearbox is long...
I'd look at a 1.3 conversion. There seem to be plenty of 1.3 barinas/swifts in wreckers now, that gets you the block and accessories, then you need a 1.3 sump, cam and dissy. IMHO a much better conversion.
If you're already well on the way fair enough, but this is essentially a very old conversion popular before the 1.3 was so available.

Hi mate i`ve got a 1ltr ute with a 5k liteace motor (1500cc) & 5 speed box.
Uses a modified sierra radiator - bottom tube swapped to opposite side (see pic) with a thermo fan. This setup gets too hot in summer as there is not enough water capacity to cool effectively. I will probably change to a liteace radiator next summer.
Fits well, cheap on fuel, very low geared - with 33`s it sits on 3000 revs at 100km/h - (on 31`s it sits on 3000 revs at 80km/h).
It has random carby issues on steep slopes - could be a number of things tho.
Hope this helps.

Hey mate - could you post picks of the engine bay showing radiator & carby. Keen to know more about the carby setup as my std carby not is working right on steep hills.
