Turbo Question?

Does anyone know if the compressor housing on a turbo, can be turned around around, let's say 45 deg or 90 deg, from the exhaust housing?

Just curious, as I can get my hand on a TD05, but the compressor housing needs to be moved around 90 deg, so the outlet isn't banging on the exhaust manifold?

most can be turned 360 degrees

just be aware of the wastegate acuator, most turbos have them to the either the compressor housing it self or to the bolts that hold the comp housing on.

in either case, you need to make sure moving the housing will not cause problems with the waste gate

So, If I leave the bracket for the actuator housing in the correct spot, should be apples?

Also, can I put a new actuator on it that operates at a slightly higher boost pressure?

you can put a new actuator or just use a bleed valve which means you can make a home made boost controller for hi/lo. If the actuator ends up somewhere off you can often make a bracket out of angle iron or similar.
