100 series front diff centre???

Hey guys done a quick search couldn't come up with anything so...
i have a 98 model hzj105r and i've busted the front diff
i've been told that the first of the hundred series were the same diff centre as the 80 series can anyone confirm this for me.

Live axle 100 series have a 4.3 ratio & 80 series have 4.1 ratio

Second that...you were told the right info but only half of it, they use thesame centre but different ratio, they are easily broken, put a air locker in it or a 4 pinion centre out of a hdfte turbo diesel 100...they are both twice as strong as the std open centre....you may be lucky and pick up a second hand set of gears from Brundswick Diesel, who do the v8 diesel conversions...

so the turbo diesel has a stronger C&P is that what you mean....
cool cool
mainly blew due to having to much slop in the diff.
but only worked that out after i took the centre out last night...
oh well you get that...

No, the centre bit, with the huge cutout in it, which incidently, will be below where the teeth are missing....thats the week spot, and t/d have like an lsd solid centre, with 4 pinions, but its an open diff...alternately, you can buy a locker...that strengthens up the std r/p so they dont spread appart

I have also been told to use ARP studs in the crownwheel to help stop flexing
