Aircon condensor fan and camshaft grind

The condensor fan (I think that's what ya call it??) on the Vit has sh!te itself...along with the head gasket, rings etc....
The fan is the 'lectric one which sits in the grill in front of the radiator. Question is, has anybody actually managed to pull the fan apart to fix it, or should I hurl it an' get another that works? How much $$$ ???
Ordered all the parts for the engine rebuild today, just waiting on rings and head reco, and picked up a set of extractors.
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHO CAN DO A CAM GRIND IN SYDNEY FOR REASONABLE BUCKS?????
