Any tips for cleaning petrol tanks out? I might try the handful of gravel trick but if anyone has better tips or products, I'm all ears.
I also want to run a second fuel filter (the clear plastic type) in the engine bay like on my old Sierra but as the Vitara is injected I was wondering if this might be a bit dangerous.

I'd use blue metal (10mm gravel) and metho to clean out the tank.
Don't use a clear plastic $2 type filter on any EFI system, they can't handle the pressure.
Fit the biggest, most common fuel filter you can find EG: V8 Falcon or Commonwhore.

Thanks for the replies guys. Depending on how clean I get the tank I might look at the option Nicbeer is running.
