Hi guys ,done my V8 conversion in my GQ, up and running sweet
,but I'm not happy with the bottom rad hose, joined two together to make longer one,but was wondering if anyone else who has done this conversion how they did their hose,is there one loner one that suits or do I still leave it joined, just a bit worried it might come apart thats all.Oh and its a 304 too. Thanks
cheers mick

Check out the F100 V8 hose, I have used these in the past,
I run chev hoses on mine, but I think the hoses are on the other side, cheers Phill

Take the one you made down to the auto part supplier and go through the bins to see if there is something similar.

I had the bottom outlet on the rad changed to 'straight out' , after that a stock holden V8 rad pipe fits great.

The only problem is my rad's an alloy one with plastic tanks so can't extend the pipe and tried looking at the parts supplier but nothing so far,did go past the rad guy and he's making me a joiner piece to suit the 2 different size hoses so it should hopefuly fix the prob a bit better

Im making up a s/s pipe and just using a small section of rubber hose at each end.

I did the same. Make steel pipes and just used short sections on rubber. Not a Holden motor but the same problems.
