hi mate, did you see the P&h charge, $143.00. add that to the price of the solenoid and for that price you can get one from a guy in nsw with a twelve month warranty.

Fitted one with synthetic rope to my 80 last week. Fitting was awkward but that was due to the Opposite Lock front bar I have and I also mounted the solenoid in the engine bay with a master kill switch and in cab winch control.....so i took my time with it all.
The seals appear to be very good (I had to rotate the gearbox to suit the OL bar). The solenoid was easy to adjust the wiring and also appears waterproof.
May get to use (correction I WANT to use it) this weekend.
And Postage to Perth was only $99 and my missus said it was a good and easy buy on ebay.

ive researched them a bit and seem to be quiet good - 12000lb, plasma and 3 yr warranty for less than a chewed up second hand warn ($800) anyday!!! I think i read somewhere that they were in another market before entering the 4wd realm with winches - did a google search and couldn't find anything. If it means anything Simon from 4WDTV has them as a sponsor...???

I just fitted one to the front of my Jeep. I have the 10k pound one.
I am mounting the solenoid under the bonnet and will be installing a kill/off switch eventually. In the interim I just disconnect it from the positive terminal so it can't be run.
I am going to the Jeep jamboree this weekend, hopefully I will get a chance to use it in anger...I will let you know how it goes.

Hey guys I stocked up on the below switches for CCDA cut off regs and only sold a few - These are ideal for winches. I will sell them for $50 off to any Outer members who call us and pay over the phone .. while stocks last.
250 continuous amps shoud do the job.

Will the tigerz11 solinoid mount inside the Warn solinoid box and wire in to everything easily enough?
Another ques... with the radio control, will others with the same control box end up controlling all of the spectators winchs also, or are they reasonable individual in the frequency???

Of course something like that will happen and it could be for free. He lets simon test the winch and says the brands name 10 times in the segment that is on air, gives it a good wrap on TV and there is your deal between the 2 im geussing. Lets just hope it is a good testing program and if there is any problems whilst simon uses it is mentioned on the show.

Whats a bet the guy who gave simon the test winch has something to do with deer hunting
Is it just me or does everyone on the "your rigs" segment seem to be one of Simons hunting mates.??????
