do you need a steering dampner for blue slip

Answer from my brother inlaw who is a licensed inspector

Short answer is no

You only need to comply with what is actually on the 'tick list'

In the same vain the guys who knock you back on a pinky for big tyres are wankers

There is other oddities but it will take forever to go through them
eg. if you got two reversing lights and one is out you fail, but if both are out you pass, go figure

Jimmy, You dont, but if they give you grief i have a spare one you can use. Do you still want those pics of the draw setup etc?
