I have my spring packs ready to split as i wanna remove any load carrying spring to get more flex, it feels like a freakin arm chair! Basically starting with the back, from the diff up, here are the springs and lengths approx:

1st one up from the diff 12 inches long
2nd 18 inches
3rd 24 inches
then they go to the longer one which are very similar
4th
5th
6th
7th

Which do i remove for more flex??? i realise i need longer shocks

ok so i pulled out the 3rd up from the bottom which seemed to be a the biggest load think one of the 3 shorter ones and then i also removed the 5th spring which outta the 4 long ones it was the 3rd from the top. is this ok?? i also added some longer shackles. It seems also softer now and the springs sit alittle flatter

just play with it man, if u wreck a spring pack cause u took to many out oh well get another one and try again.

take one out at a time and test it dont take like 2 or 3 at a time cause then u cant work out which one had wat affect on the pack.

With the zooks we pull them apart and check which leaf takes more load to compress individually and then remove that leaf. Normally the second from the bottom or the very bottom.

Thick leaves will not flex.
Short thick leaves will not flex at all

Long thin leaves flex like mad.
Short thin ones will still flex ok.

I have 8 leaves
each leaf is only 7mm thick

Thanks guys, i just put it back together now and tried it. I left the shocks out so they didnt hold it up, although i dont think they would have anyways. It depinatly flexed better but i still want more up travel. ive attched a couple of pics, can anyone tell from looking at them if its working how it should. Excause my ignornance on leaf springs, ive only ever played around with Coils b4.

The third pic is of the rear spring, a fiar twist in the front half of it. the 4th is obviously the front. cheers mitch
