Hi guys,

Just thought i'd share some pics. Went for an afternoon drive with a mate, but only with my rover, so we had to try to limit the crazyness. Headed out to check out Winchbreak pass, haven't been out there for a while and it's gotten heaps worse [or better, depending on which way you look at it ;) !!!] Can't wait to give it a crack [and probably crack something] but there will definatly have to be a truck with a winch there. Sooo we just mucked around on the access track for a while, gave the double steps a go and the crack [shown]. It's also gotten worse, much deeper than last time [couldn't get up it in the surf  ]

Even though i was hitting the front and was concerned for the poor stock c.v's going under the undercut ledge, we gave it a good go and got sooo close to getting it,but we kept getting high centered which put us on a crap angle for coming back down [can't tell in the pics], so we had to build the base a bit and my mate hung off the strap as i came down. All in all had fun, gave the [Grimace] underbody fuel tank a caning and still loving the creepy's, they're starting to bag out nicely !!.

Anyone else with recent rover wheeling pics, post up !!!

mmmmmmmm - those were the days - when I had a rig that I could just jump in and go for a drive and do some wheeling.

How much grip do you get on that sandstone?? Can you cherp the tyres or do the tyres pull the rocks away easily?

 I reckon !! After pretty much being rig-less for a year and a half it's sooo good to be able to go fuck this lets go for a drive !!!
The rocks there are grippy, but it's easy to break traction on them too, with enough foot. There's lotsa sand and dirt around that area which doesn't help, half my problem in the pics were my front tyres were just digging into the sand at the top of the ledge.
I'm an idiot for not taking pics of winchbreak pass itself, you guys would like it, although with 36+ and some wheel base it'd be a walk [IMO].
