titan solenoids

Ramsey REP8000 whinch. It has only 2 wires connected to the winch motor unlike allot of whinches that have 3. Can these solenoids still be used on these motors??

no, there are not enough contacts to change the polarity.

What about the solenoid that you have in the picture with you 3500lb winch, the motor on that winch appears to have only 2 wires to connect to it.

we had sold one of our solenoids to a bloke who had only 2 terminals on his 12v winch motor i had said it wouldnt work he told me it can ,and he has succeeded a pic of his wiring diagram is below ,may help others for the future

Ok, Paul has sent me out one of his solenoids, and i have ripped it apart and inspected its layout, and after chucking it on the bench and testing it to do the above(2 wire winch) and the standard 3 wire set up both work well
So this soleniod will do both types of winches with no issues, the above picture is correct to use

hi i just brought on of these soleniods to run an 9.5xp warn winch. Im haveing troubles with the wiring side. i followed the instruction that came with it and now as soon as you get battery positive the winch spools out. would someone be able to tell me where i am going wrong.
