hey all im sick of breaking unis in my 105 series because the 105 series tail shafts are smaller in diameter then the 80 series ones. the 105 series tail shafts run hilux unis and on a heavy car turbo diesel and 35s dont mix so does anyone know if the diff and transfer flanges on a 80 series - 105 series are the same? and whats the lenght of a 80 series auto shaft and a 105 series auto tail shaft help would be most helpfull i would meassure the distance between flanges its a bit hard when i dont have a rear diff centre in the car
cheers scott

if not i'm sure you could get one made up, re drill the diff and transfer flange if need be and use a heavier wall pipe on it will help the no bend factor aswell.

Scott I dont know the answer to your question only to say, the chassis on 80 and 105 are thesame, diffs r thesame, auto is thesame, 1hz is thesame essentually, you should have thesame as a non ABS 80...abs has viscous and longer transfer/shorter tailshaft. I dont know about the bolt pattern on the transfer, but it _should_ be thesame diff _should_ be thesame.....if the transfer isnt thesame bolt pattern, i will give you a output that is...pm me and i will measure hole to hole....why 05's run lux unis is above my understanding, i know they use prado and diesel lux r150 box too....because you have broke a few sets, i would seriously suggest you put it on a hoist and check uni bind at full droop....space crossmember or lengthen arms to change angles if required.

at full droop the unis are on some good stress cause i have such long shocks in my truck i think i might have to space the gear box x member down an inch or so im currently in port hedland in WA so i cant meassure the flang bolt pattern
