gidday,

whats some good software that has waypoints like ozi, but is not as fiddly.
It has to be much more basic like tomtom, but have the ability to load from waypoint files and be loaded on a laptop. is there such a beast?

And where can i get track files for popular spots like newnes, dingo dell, etc?

I wouldn't say ozi is particularly fiddly, especially once you learn it.

For basic mapwork and vehicle location it couldn,t be easier.

Ive got oziexplorer and memory-map, and i have chosen the 2nd because it is so easy to use, and it keeps all the information on screen even after you turn it off, while in oziexplorer, you would have to save everything before you close the application or you lose all your onscreen info.

Cant help with track files though... btw, most would be in oziexplorer format anyway.
