Overkill Aztec Writeup 4wd Monthly

Hey Sam,

I've had a little read of the Aztec article in 4wd monthly - it looks pretty good (it's always good to see a car in a glossy magazine because the pics always look better than when you see the car in pics on the web).

However I'm a bit confused about the front axel setup.

Is it a trailtough suzanna unit, an overkill suzanna, or a 4wd monthly typo?

One more question - how do you adjust the fuel setup on the computer for different terrain - that seems kind of interesting to me. I gather it's something that your computer allows and you just have a dial somewhere?

Thanks.

The front diff we made ourselves but it is the same as the TT one.
As for the computer that would be Journo hype. The computer is adj throught the hand controller on the tunnel but once it is tuned properly you shouldn't need to adj anything. So no I don't adj it for different conditions but it sounds good. :D

Cool - all makes sense now - i just thought that perhaps you guys were selling the trailtough ones under you name - like Avalanche Engineering and Trail Ready beadlocks used to do.

Fair enough about the computer thing - i have something like that on my car - if it's wet - roof goes on, if it dry - roof comes off :)

must agree, was a great write up!! but it looks even better in real life,

i was on the first watagans night run when sam bought the aztec out to play, watchin him drive rope road with the front axles vertical and the rear axles horizontal was an awesome site
