Was going to say the bible but no mention in there (for once) he he

is she after a 4x4? or just a small car in general? have a search around as they have been mentioned as not being the best 1st car.

upside, look for rust in body (mostly where seems join or extenal bolts are, doors and windscreens and rear windows.

engines - like any listen for noises lol :) you will know when they are bad ones.

transfer - it can lock in N or in any gear, dont fret it will prob be the $12 bush underneath.

electrical - not much of it std but the earths are crap in all that i have found.

I'd be looking for a low K car(under 150,000) that has absolutely no signs of ever being off road.
One with no rust is important too as Zooks are so thin that a little rust goes a long way quickly.
Check under the plastic sill molds for rust.
A replacement soft top is $350-$400 so check that too.
Check for extras like a roll bar, spotlights, stereo, 2 or 4 seater.
Jas.
