New motor for LN65

Hi,
Im looking at getting a new motor for my 1985 diesel hilux, does anyone know of any good places to get them from? in queensland? maybe a jap import?

Ive got a 320,000km old 2.8D in adelaide im looking at getting rid of soon- Comes with gearbox, power steering pump and if you want it wiring loom for an LN106.
BYO transfer case (its now on the 3.0TD motor) and Alternator (i killed it
)

Rolin Imports on the Gold Coast- $6200 delivered to adelaide for a 90,000km old KZN130 surf Halfcut.
Tonnes of 2LT surfs running around that would make a direct drop in- 2.4 Turbo Diesel

Just got myself some double lockers for it today- $1100 in centres for ARB's!

well done on the lockers mate, thats a bargain if i have ever seen one. so any ideas of where i could get a 2L-T motor from a surf from?

Try a wreckers- theres enough of them around the place that they should be able to source one fairly easily.
The 2LT (and 2LT-E - EFI diesel, bit more wiring involved) make about the same kw as a 2.8D, but more torque and are a bit happier with hills being turbo'd
Rolin imports are listing an auto surf 3.0TD on their halfcut list, but dont expect to get that for under $5000 for the cut.
